Animation Supplier stocks the physical things a drawn or stop-motion bench runs out of: registration bars, punched sheets, acetate, diffuser material and dependable light boxes. We are not set up for novelty kits or retail dropship work. We pack for studios, colleges, model shops and directors who already have work on the table.
Light boxes
A3 and A2 LED Boxes
The stocked boxes are low-profile LED units for animation drawing, clean-up, checking levels and college bench work. The dimmer has enough range for paper stacks without burning the eyes during long sessions.

Stocked light boxes and diffuser sheets dispatch next working day when ordered before 13:00 Tuesday to Friday. Electrical stock is checked before it leaves the workshop and carries the UKCA documentation we hold for those models.
We do not repair unknown or imported mains-powered light boxes without manufacturer documentation.
Peg bars
Acme, Oxberry and Custom 12-Field Bars
This is the part of the catalogue Martin talks about longest, because a peg bar either registers or it does not. Acme and Oxberry-pattern bars look simple on a price line, but the work is in the repeatability: the hole spacing, the face finish, the burr removal and the check against real punched stock.
Standard 12-field stainless steel bars are suited to studio benches, rostrum checks, teaching rooms and freelance desks where the bar is handled every day. Stainless takes the knocks and cleans well. Aluminium is used for custom punched runs where a department needs a particular fixing pattern, bench layout or replacement bar matched to older equipment.
For Acme work, tell us whether you need unpunched bars for loose placement or bars drilled to your bench. For Oxberry-pattern orders, tell us what paper or cels you are matching. If a custom pattern is involved, we ask for a drawing and written approval before cutting. Custom-cut metalwork needs a 50% deposit and cannot be cancelled once material has been cut.

Every standard bar is laid against a master punch before it is sleeved. Martin checks the register by feel as much as sight: paper should drop on, settle flat and lift without tearing the punch holes. Custom bars are checked as a batch, then packed with the drawing reference so a technician can match the carton to the purchase order without ringing around the department.
Custom peg bars and unusual punch patterns take 7 to 10 working days after written approval of the drawing. We do not cut blades, camera parts or rostrum hardware where safety liability would sit with us.
Cels and paper
Clear Cels and Punched Sheets
Clear 12-field acetate cels are packed flat in hundreds. Punched cels can be supplied in Acme or Oxberry pattern. The 80 gsm punched animation paper is a working weight for line tests, classes and production notes where a clean register matters more than a premium drawing surface.

Keep cels flat, away from direct heat and out of damp store cupboards. Paper reams are wrapped for dispatch and should be opened on the bench, not in a busy corridor where a dropped corner becomes a registration problem.
